Hello! This page will give you a little insight into my life beyond the stage, the screen, and the audition room. You may know some of the basics, but there’s a lot more to me than meets the eye!
I was born on September 7, 1998 which makes me 20 years old as I sit here writing this in a coffee shop awaiting an audition across the street. My family has always been very close, supportive, and tight-knit. Like every other family, we had our differences and issues but at the end of the day it’s nothing but love.
I am also an only child. Many people are so fascinated by this for some reason. Yes, it has it’s upsides but there were definitely downsides. I had to grow up pretty fast which I’m grateful for because it has made me an independent woman and I feel confident chasing my dreams without the help and push from others. Being an only child, I also grew up constantly craving the spotlight. I would put on little performances in the living room ever since I can remember. I craved that recognition so much when I was younger that my love for performing really just landed in my lap.
As I grew older, around the time I reached high school, that craving for recognition blossomed into a burning desire to entertain and evoke emotion from an audience. I fell completely in love with the art in a new, invigorating way.
From Kindergarten to Eighth grade, I attended a very small private school where the concentration was focused on academics and little attention was paid to the arts. We still had theatre, choir, art class, etc., but the productions were small and extremely underrated. It wasn’t until I went to a public high school where the performing arts were taken seriously and highly encouraged.
When I went to high school, I was a brand new student to not only the public school system but with the school district as I had moved to a different city. High school was also the time where I found my home in the arts. It became a safe place where I made friends, memories, and put on amazing productions. It’s safe to say that throughout my four years of high school, my passion for acting skyrocketed.
Here I am now, in college, still chasing a dream that I’ve had ever since I can remember. Even though I’ve been deeply involved in the art of acting for so long, I know that my journey has really just begun.
Acting aside, let’s talk about some favorites! My favorite color is hands-down blue. My favorite movie is Dazed and Confused which just so happens to be directed by my favorite director, Richard Linklater! I absolutely adore going to the movies, even if that means I go by myself. My first car was a white Jeep Wrangler but now I drive a white Honda Accord which I love just as much. My favorite genre of music is classic rock n’ roll (go ahead and follow me on Spotify!) I LOVE dogs, specifically pugs. And finally, the last thing you need to know, I believe that tacos are the supreme food.
Thank you for being here!
